My Experience

I bought this stainless steel shaker for the usual reasons: it's easier to clean, won't get scratched up on the inside, resists odours, and is generally more durable for a longer life. After using it daily for two weeks with meal replacement powders, it has mostly lived up to that.

The unique agitator is silent and mixes perfectly, as long as you keep everything under 500ml to leave space to shake. With thick powders, 10 seconds of normal shaking gets rid of most clumps, and a little more makes it completely smooth. The integrated handle is a neat feature that, along with the grippy coating on the bottle, gives you great manoeuvrability for shaking. The lid screws on tight and I've had no leaks so far. It is also incredibly easy to clean; even with powders that have oaty bits that might stick, a quick wash gets them off and leaves no smell whatsoever.

However, there are a few issues. My bottle arrived with a few visible scratches on the outside that I noticed immediately. The opening is somewhat small, and if you try to pour in a full 30-35g scoop, you will likely spill some, which forces you to use smaller scoops to be precise. After shaking, opening the drinking cap causes a 'pop' due to the pressure that splatters a small but annoying amount of liquid on the lid or on you. Lastly, the bottle has a safety warning against shaking with hot liquid. Which, honestly, I think it’s best to not use any hot liquid in it at all, which just reduces it to a cold-only insulated shaker. It does that job well, but it's a limitation.

You are paying a premium for this, but it fills my purpose for a long-lasting (hopefully), clean meal replacement shaker well. 4 stars.
