My Experience

I grabbed this box on sale for £10, and honestly, unless you are buying it purely for curiosity, you are better off just buying the sliced mango packs.

The variety box is a nice idea, but other than the mango, none of these hit the same notes as eating the fresh version. Here is how the flavours actually stacked up:

Jackfruit (Chips): This was a letdown. It loses all its characteristic flavour and funk. You are essentially left with a vaguely crunchy, sugar-infused chip that doesn't taste of much.

Dragon Fruit: A mixed bag. The sliced version is disgustingly sweet. Without the fresh juice to balance it out, it becomes cloying because the drying process seems to kill off all the acid. However, the freeze-dried chip actually managed to retain that necessary tartness.

Mango: This is the saviour of the box. The sliced mango retained the fibre, the tartness, the sweetness, and had a really nice chew. The mango chips, on the other hand, were neither here nor there.

I'll give it 3 stars. It is worth trying once if you are curious, but otherwise, there aren't many reasons to buy anything other than the sliced mango.
