It's not bad for £1.25 65g at all, I'll be comparing to the Mr Tubs premium crackling at £9 for 250g, since it's the only other similar thing I've had.

There are some hairs here and there, some bits can be very hard, so you need strong healthy teeth ( they even warn this on the package). The bites are generally smaller, the fat tastes fine but not as indulgent, it's drier, and somehow more salty than Mr Tub's.

I was surprised when I went to check the back of the package, at first I thought it lacked a bit of taste, so they must be using less salt, but nope! it has more salt than Mr Tubs!

The 2 stars great taste award feels like a joke personally, it's good for the price, but I'd rather just pay a bit more and get Mr Tubs.
