My Experience

I decided to skip the usual fridge-raid toppings for this one. No veg, no meat, just the noodles and broth on their own. I wanted to see exactly what this "premium" packet brings to the table without any distractions masking the flavour.

The Aroma:
First impressions were actually very strong. The moment I tore open the liquid soup sachet, I was hit with a really distinct scent of black garlic. It doesnโ€™t smell like that flat, chemical powder you get in standard cheap noodles. It smells complex and genuinely savoury right out of the packet.

The Taste:
Here is where I was torn. The quality is obviously there; the noodles have that proper chew, and the broth has a serious depth to it. But honestly? It was just too salty for me.

Itโ€™s a strange situation where the "flavour engineering" is so good that it almost backfires. Because the pork and soy profile is so rich and authentic, it amplifies the saltiness rather than hiding it. It felt heavy on the palate. It lingers, but not necessarily in the way I wanted.

I tried to power through, but in the end, I could only manage about half the soup base before I had to drain the rest. It was just too intense to drink as a broth.

It is clearly a high-quality product, but the balance felt off for my personal taste. If you love a salt-heavy, punchy kick, you might love this. For me, it needed toning down.
